So, I have this weird paranoia about microwaves causing brain tumors. If you know me very well, this fact should not be surprising. Anyway, whenever I'm microwaving something, I generally send Isaiah out of the room or discreetly block any harmful waves from hitting him with my own body, hot pad, newspaper, etc. that might be readily available. So, I never thought anyone knew about this paranoia until I had the following conversation with Isaiah this afternoon.....
Isaiah: Mom, I know the plural for mouse.
Me: Oh yeah? What is it?
Isaiah: Mice.
Me: That's right! How'd you get so smart?
Isaiah: 'Cause I don't look at the microwave.
Oops.
Oh, Hey.

This might be the funniest thing I've ever heard. Not being afraid of the microwave...what Isaiah said.
You are too funny, Aubri! My mom was always paranoid of microwaves too!
Very smart boy!!
Oh, Aubri, Aubri. I love it!
Crack-up! Kids are more observant than you think!
You are so funny! The sad thing is, is I do the same thing. I always like to leave the room when I am microwaving. I really don't like microwaves either...I guess we are crazy!
I love me some Isaiah! Love you, too!
AWESOME! i wonder about that but i don't leave the room!
Ha ha! What a cute little stinker! I, too, am paranoid about microwaves! I always step to the side of it when it's going. I'm not really sure why I think stepping a few inches to the side is going to protect me...
