1. Thanks to Annie for recommending the book, A Thousand Splendid Suns. I was reading your blog and you actually recommended The Kite Runner (which I'm on the waiting list for at the library), but I noticed you also gave 4 stars to this book, so I thought I'd give it a try. I was very pleasantly surprised and will now be coming to you for all of my book recommendations.
2. Thanks to Khaled Hosseini for writing such an amazing book. I finished it two days ago and haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. It is now, by far, my most favorite book of all time! I can't wait to get my hands on The Kite Runner.

I'm so glad you liked it! The Kite Runner is even better. It haunted me for weeks and weeks. I'm excited for you to read it.
I'm actually on the last few chapters of The Kite Runner. I'm frusterated every day when I can't just sit for hours and read it! I'm interested in seeing the movie now too. Glad to know his next book is great as well. What an eye opening experience his novels are! Hope you are all healthier and doing well. Say hi to all the fam.
