Homecoming

Well, we are just finishing homecoming week here in Grace. It is a pretty big deal for the whole town. There were a lot of different activities for the high school students, but there were some for the community, too.
Today there was a parade down Main Street with an Apache helicopter flying over. There was also a tailgate party, with the helicopter, rock walls, bouncy toys, a chili cook-off, and much, much more!
Then the football team won! It was the first game they have won in about three years. (I've asked around and nobody seems to remember the last time they had one, but they know it has been at least 3 years.) Even better, it was against Soda Springs, which is the closest town and their biggest rival. Unfortunately one of my young men from church suffered a concussion, but another one of my young men, intercepted the ball to end the game. Grace is starting to grow on me, but don't tell Aubri.
Here are some photos from the tailgate party.
I wore my letterman's jacket because I gotta' represent, but mostly to embarrass Aubri.
There is the Apache helicopter behind them.

It was fun to see the helicopter I heard so much about it. We did not go because the kids were "trailing the cows home" and I was doing wedding flowers.
Tyler is having a great time in "Mr. Sotutu's"class.
