In the News

Tonight while reading the Church news, I was reminded again that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is always mature and thoughtful in their views and responses to the sometimes cruel and insensitive world around us. Please see this link to a news briefing released by the Church regarding the HBO series Big Love. I am proud to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!

Funny Isaiah Stuff

Isaiah: Mom, I know the plural for mouse.

Me: Oh yeah? What is it?

Isaiah: Mice.

Me. That's right! How'd you get so smart?

Isaiah: 'Cause I don't look at the microwave.

I was telling Isaiah that when he gets a little older his teeth will fall out and new ones will grow in. The only thing he said was, "Mommy, if my teeth fall out, who's gonna catch them?"

Dave and Isaiah were playing video games and Dave apparently did something Isaiah didn't like because he said, "Daddy, what the helicopter you doing?"

Isaiah: Mommy, did you know spiders have sticky-pops on their feet?

Aubri: No, I didn't. What are sticky-pops?

Isaiah: Sticky-pops are the things that help them stick to their webs.

Aubri: Oh. How do you know they are called sticky-pops?

Isaiah (completely annoyed): Because Mommy, they are like the thing you use in the toilet! (The plunger!)
