Into July

So far July has been pretty good for us. We had fun out on the water with Jodi and Bryant on their boat. I have been working out in the woods. I am getting to do some new things, like put out smoldering fires and measuring tree stands. When we do that, we go measure tree diameters and heights, report on their health, count twigs and branches, identify the plants in the area, and a bunch of other really cool stuff like that.
Aubri just got done with her Super Saturday activity that she has been planning for our ward's Relief Society. It seems like it went well. As soon as it was over, she came home and took a long nap.
The rest of the month should be really exciting. I am leaving on Tuesday evening with the scouts to go biking and canoeing in Yellowstone and in the surrounding area. Then on the Tuesday of the next week, we will be going to Washington for my family's annual reunion out on a lake on the Olympic Peninsula. We will be there for Isaiah's fifth birthday. It should be a blast!
(See pics from July below)
Here is Isaiah, Colson, and Aubri on "The Hot Dog"
Isaiah, Colson and Me on "The Hot Dog". There was a tense moment when we all fell off, but we survived.
My mad wake-boarding skills. OK, they aren't mad skills. Just ill-tempered, maybe.
This is at a site where we were doing "mop up" (putting out a smoldering ground fire).
